“I run a horse riding school. Ann came and house/horse sat 18 horses for me for two weeks. She walked the dog and looked after my two very spoiled cats. It was very comforting to have someone responsible and mature enough to make decisions while I was away. Clean house, happy healthy animals and a smiling lady - Thank you very much Ann for taking such good care of my 4 legged babies" Tracey

Richard

Richard has been working in the Healthcare Industry now for 3 years and thanks Country Mile Home Care for giving him the opportunity to give back to people that need help.

Richard’s preference in Health Care is doing live-in care, as the carer has the ability to help a person in their own home instead of an aged care or hospital facility. He also brings a wealth of life experience from working on farms to running his own business and travelling different parts of the world and Australia. Overall he believes his years of knowledge and understanding puts him in a good position to hold constructive conversations with clients making them feel comfortable with him and what he can do.

Alex

Hello,

My name is Alex and I live on a small holding near Manjimup,  with my husband.

Our four children have left home.

I am from a farming background and my hobbies include travelling, gardening, walking, cooking and country life.

I have studies enrolled nursing, worked as a Patient Care Assistant and a theatre orderly in a hospital, as a support worker and later as coordinator for a disability service provider and as a family support worker for the Department of Child Protection.

I have worked in remote areas in Northern Australia and I have also travelled overseas, working on the land. I enjoy meeting new people, travelling to new places and helping others to get the best out of their day.

Working for Country Mile Home Care gives me the opportunity to combine all my life skills to help others.

I look forward to meeting you!

Jenni

Hi,
My name is Jenni.
I live in Bunbury after raising my two boys for 18 years in Donnybrook.   I am also a grandmother to two adorable fur babies.
I love pets, country life, reading, volunteering, the great outdoors, travelling, paddling my kayak and of course my beautiful family, and friends some of whom are in their 70’s and 80’s.
After caring for both my parents in their latter years I felt a strong desire to work full time in a caring role.  Thanks to Ann and Country Mile Home Care I have a job that I love.  No day is ever the same! I meet lovely people and I can really help them.  It is so rewarding.

I look forward to meeting and helping you.

Jenni

Lyn

Hello

My name is Lyn and I have been living in Narrogin with my husband for the past 41 years.  We have 2 sons and 4 grandchildren.

In the first 23 years of living in Narrogin I helped work and manage the family farm until I opened a patchwork shop in town.   After selling the shop I found work in the aged care industry where I have spent the past 7 and a half years helping others.  During that time I have obtained my Certificate 3 and 4 in Aged Care.

My hobbies include gardening, patchwork and cooking.

As I have been living and working in a country town for many years I have seen that there are many people that could benefit from my help and support.  Now Country Mile Home Care have provided me the opportunity to do just that.

I am looking forward to meeting and seeing how I can help you.
